Football: Rover and out for No.3; SOUTH & EAST.

TARFF ROVERS go gunning for a hat-trick of silverware today when they bid to add the Haig Gordon Cup to the League Cup and the Cree Lodge trophy they've already stashed away.

The South League leaders face St Cuthbert Wanderers at Kirkcudbright and a club spokesman said: "We've had a good season so far but we are being badly hit by injuries. We have half a dozen players affected."

Tarff are also in the Challenge Cup final and play the winners of Monday's semi-final between Annan Athletic and Queen of the South at Galabank.

Annan are in the driving seat in the East Premier Division with a five-point lead over Spartans and six over Whitehill Welfare, who also have two games in hand.

Secretary Alan Irving said: "We've got everything to play for and we seem to be getting stronger every game."
