Football: Robbo cured by week to remember.
CHARLTON winger John Robinson says he has enjoyed the perfect week to cure the hangover of the club's FA Cup quarter-final exit.
Robinson was bitterly disappointed when his late miss consigned Charlton to a 1-0 sixth round defeat at Bolton.
But the Welsh international scored for his country in midweek and then fired the winner against Sheffield United to keep Alan Curbishley's side on course to the Premiership.
He said: "The FA Cup defeat affected me a lot because I had a great chance and missed it. But this week could not have gone better."
Yet Robinson's perfect week came close to being ruined by a red card following a clash with United's combative Michael Brown.
The winger, who had already received a first-half booking, flung his arm back as he broke from defence, catching Brown in the face. Referee Paul Danson let him off the hook.
