Football: Robbo: That's for you mate; ALBION NEWS.

PAUL Robinson claimed he was following in his best mate Kevin Phillips' footsteps after scoring his fourth Albion goal - his third in as many games against Coventry.

The Albion left-back scored in the 5-0 win against Coventry last season before grabbing the only goal at the Ricoh Arena at the end of that campaign.

He opened the scoring for Albion in last night's 4-0 win and dedicated his goal to injured goal hero Phillips.

"I was taking Kev's role last night," said Robinson, whose only other goal for Albion was a last-minute equaliser against Villa during the Great Escape season of 2004/05.

"I thought I look a bit like 'Super' Kev with my blond hair so I'll celebrate like him.

"The main thing was getting the three points and we're delighted with that.

"We knew it was going to be tough. We were lucky they had a man sent-off early but we've got quality and we showed that in the second half."

He continued: "I wish I could score against a few other clubs but the most important thing was getting three points."
