Football: Pair of loan Rangers in Raith deals.

RAITH ROVERS will today tie up the loan signings of Queens Park Rangers youngsters Wes Daly and Jack Perry.

Midfielder Daly, 19, and right-back Perry, 20, caught Claude Anelka's eye when he was weighing up a stake in QPR - just weeks before investing in Raith.

The French boss attended a reserve match at Loftus Road earlier this year and was impressed with Daly and Perry.

Now he has moved to sign them up at Stark's Park on short-term deals until January.

Rovers spokesman Keith Lusack said: 'Claude watched these guys months ago when he was at a reserve match at QPRand they were two players he thought he would like in his side.

'He has been pursuing them for some time.'

Perry was to face Clyde at the weekend but red tape prevented his debut. However, he should play at Airdrie United on Saturday.
