Football: Ludlow to lead Wales; WALES WOMEN v SWITZ TOMORROW, 2.30PM.

JAYNE LUDLOW is set to lead out Wales at Rhyl as caretaker manager Adrian Tucker's reign starts with a double-header which will make or break his side's chances of qualifying for the 2009 Euro Championships.

Tucker has replaced Andy Beattie, who resigned after the 2-1 defeat to Holland in August.

Wales prop up Group Four after a 6-0 defeat to World Cup winners Germany in their opening qualifier.

They will face Switzerland at Belle Vue (ko 2.30pm) before heading to Belgium on Wednesday.

Tucker will look to Arsenal ace Ludlow to lead from the front, but has also recalled former Doncaster Rovers Belles winger Milly Durrant and the Aberystwyth-born attacker is hoping to make her first appearance for her country on home soil.

Rank outsiders Wales are already nine points behind group leaders Germany and four behind Holland but have a game in hand on the latter.
