Football: Lloyd-Williams set for Aberystwyth move.
Byline: KEITH EVANSBANGOR City's prolific striker,Marc Lloyd-Williams,looks poised to join Mitsubishi Welsh Premier rivals Aberystwyth Town.
The 30-year- old is set to put pen to paper later this week following talks with the Park Avenue club.
Aber boss Gary Finley, however, would not be drawn about the prospects of securing Lloyd-Williams, who had been put up for sale by Bangor earlier this month.``Negotiations are at a delicate stage but we're not a million miles away,''he said.
Lloyd-Williams netted 50 league and cup goals in Bangor's 2001-2002 campaign to take the league's player of the season award.
Last year he joined Conference club Southport but, following an unsuccessful spell, returned toBangor mid-season where he finished with 12 league and cup goals. Finley is also close to landing a central-defender.
Meanwhile, defender Robbie Wood has become the third player to be released by TNS Llansantffraid.
Former skipper Tim Alexander has joined Kidsgrove Athletic and striker Steve Anthrobus is now with Hednesford Town.
