Football: LEX XI.

LEX XI are gunning for a place in the semi-finals of the Cymru Alliance League Cup when they host struggling Amlwch Town. The Stansty Park men are close to full strength, apart from suspended Craig Thomas.

Amlwch, buoyed after last weekend's first win in 11, will be unchanged and in the right mood to avenge the Wrexham side's double in the league.

Holywell Town, who pulled off a shock 2-1 win at Airbus UK in the last round, have another tough task at Ruthin Town.

David Sweet,Jamie Renshaw and Mike Allsopp are all cup-tied but Owain Roberts,Ritchie Dermot and Mark Boyce are expected to fill the gaps.

Flint Town United visit Llangefni Town with Joey Ouslem ruled out and Dale Lovett (ankle) and Stuart Hughes (knee) undergoing late fitness tests.

``Flint have never won this cup so it would be nice to reach the last four and perhaps go on to the final,'' said manager Dai Beck.

Llangefni Town are without cup-tied Andy Wagstaffe and Mark Orme.

Forward Graham Austin will return while Geraint Jones and Neil Jatt face fitness tests.

Boss Andy Nicholls said: ``We had a terrific result at Airbus and drew 0-0 at Ruthinjust after Christmas so we are in a very confident mood.''
