Football: Just Hold on a minute, ref.

Barnsley 1 Bolton 1

BOLTON were mugged by referee Mick Fletcher and chief victim Dean Holdsworth is hoping they are not robbed of a play-off place as well.

The striker got it absolutely right as he smashed in a superb 75th-minute volley - and the official got it completely wrong by ruling it out.

Beseiged by protesting players, he first disallowed it, then awarded a goal and then consulted an assistant before disallowing it again.

Bolton went ahead with a Holdsworth penalty. Eric Tinkler equalised.
