Football: Jurgen's tears for souvenirs.

JURGEN Klinsmann bowed out of football in tears last night.

The former Germany skipper and Spurs striker wept after he produced a typical flourish to end his illustrious career by scoring six goals as he helped his hand-picked World XI to an 8-6 win over his first club, VfB Stuttgart.

A 53,000 sell-out crowd at the Gottlieb Daimler stadium saw 34-year-old Klinsmann - a hero at White Hart Lane in his 1995 and 1997 spells there - score in the 33rd, 55th, 60th, 71st, 73rd and 85th minutes, and Rudi Voller - his former World Cup strike partner - also score twice.
