Football: IN BRIEF - Hatters' tribute.

LUTON manager Mike Newell has urged his players to send Sol Davis the perfect get-well message by beating Burnley.

The Hatters face Steve Cotterill's side in the Coca-Cola Championship tonight - but the club remains in shock after defender Davis suffered a stroke on Saturday on the team coach taking the side to Ipswich - a game they lost 5-0.

He said: "We're asking the lads to respond after what happened with Sol. We owe it to ourselves and to Sol to bounce back."
