RANGERS have been told they'll get the next Peter Lovenkrands if they make a shock pounds 125,000 move for Danish kid Adda Djeziri.

The 18-year-old has only played a handful of games for Danish Second Division side BK Frem but impressed Ibrox chiefs in a trial last week.

Frem have drawn up a proposal to allow Djeziri to make a surprise move to the SPL and coach Anders Theil said: "Adda wants to go abroad and if Rangers want him they will get him.

"I'd love him to stay but football is a game of opportunity and if he had the chance to go to Rangers I would be fine with that. "I would like the best for Adda and I believe Rangers will talk to us before the end of January.

"Adda is a left-sided midfielder who is very technical and very fast. He has an excellent first touch and creates goals.

"In fact, there is a little bit of Peter Lovenkrands about his play. They have a similar style."

Theil admits it has come as a shock to him that Rangers have expressed an interest.

He said: "It was a surprise to me that he went to Rangers but maybe his agent did some good work.

Adda has a contract here for one more year and I haven't spoken to Rangers but we would not be looking for a lot of money."

Agent Nico Jurij is awaiting a response from Rangers as he prepares to conclude a deal.

He said: "Glasgow Rangers are a very big club in Europe and Adda did well.

"They know his ability and he is one of the brightest prospects in Danish football.

"I spoke with Adda and he is very excited about the prospect of the move and when Rangers say yes I'll be coming over with him to Glasgow."
