Football: Fad will do nicely for Bhoys.
CELTIC boss Martin O'Neill is keeping tabs on Auxerre star Khalilou Fadiga.
The 28-year-old first came to O'Neill's attention playing for Senegal in the World Cup and the Parkhead boss kept close tabs on him last season.
O'Neill's scouts were in Paris last weekend where Fadiga helped Auxerre to victory over Paris St Germain in the French Cup Final
Attacking midfielder Fadiga joined Auxerre from Bruges in 2001 and is available for around pounds 2m.
O'Neill is keen to freshen up his squad and wouldn't be put off by that sort of price tag.
Meanwhile goalkeeper Javier Broto, who joined Celtic on a short-term contract during the winter break, is set to be offered a two-year deal.
The Spaniar has received offers from Italy and Portugal but wants to stay at Parkhead after forcing his way into the first team at the end of last season.
O'Neill's men face an early start to the season with a Champions League qualifier at the end of July follow by a gruelling pre-season programme covering three countries.
Celtic will play three matches in Sweden, including one against Henrik Larsson's old team, before flying home for friendlies against Fulham.
They will then fly out to the States for high-profile games against Manchester United and AC Milan.
