Football: Elvis can keep us cool on Euro tours.

Byline: GAVIN BERRY

NEIL MacFARLANE will look in the direction of Steven Pressley and Andy Webster to help guide Euro rookies Hearts to a UEFA Cup run. Last week's 2-0 win over NK Zeljeznicar was the first taste of European football for most of the Jambos line-up who now face a daunting trip to Bosnia in three weeks.

And MacFarlane says the presence of the rock-solid international duo will be vital to calm the nerves. The midfielder said: ``Elvis is vastly experienced and has played big games for Scotland.

``And although Andy is young he has faced the likes of Germany.

``Their knowledge of the big occasion will be vital to the less experienced players. Their presence is immense and they are great guys to have around.''

MacFarlane has heard the horror stories about former war zone Sarajevo where Hearts will play their return leg but his only concern is what happens on the park. Despite their 2-0 lead Jambos know the job is not complete.

MacFarlane said: ``It's hard to know what to expect although they must comeout and have a go at us. But we'll be as professional as possible and hopefully sneak a goal.

``We might even relax a little in front of a foreign crowd as we're under pressure at home because our fans expect plenty of goals.

``The game last Wednesday was my first in Europe and even though we're 2-0 up the job is far from done.

``But the fact we didn't concede a goal gives us a good chance of qualifying for the second round.

``We've got a great team spirit and work hard as a unit. We've been strong at home and if we take that into away games we stand a chance of doing something in the UEFA Cup.''
