Football: Djorkaeff close to Fulham deal.
WORLD Cup winner Youri Djorkaeff is closer to a move to Craven Cottage, according to Fulham coach Dave Beasant.One-time Everton target Djorkaeff was released by Bolton in the summer after enjoying an extension to his career at the Reebok Stadium.
But Fulham manager Chris Coleman clearly believes the Frenchman would be an asset to Fulham and expects him to sign soon.
Beasant said: ``It's an ideal situation because he's not contracted and we don't have to wait until January. With Andy Cole's suspension, he's the ideal type for us. ''
