Football: Cool Joe is ready for hothouse.

Cardiff-born Joe Ledley admits that he's going to have to keep a 'cool head' for tomorrows big derby with Bristol City. City's most consistent player was champing at the bit, ready to do battle as City try to make it three consecutive wins in the Championship.

"It's a big game as it's a derby. Bristol City have done well, but had a couple of bad results lately and it's going to be tough game.

"I know that the Cardiff fans will give him (Trundle) stick, they will be on his case that's for sure, especially after what he did a couple of seasons back at the Millennium Stadium.

"And no doubt he will be doing his best to score against us, so we need to be on our guard.

"It's nothing to do with me, that's up the fans. As a player I need to concentrate on trying to beat Bristol.

"My friends try not to talk to me about football, but I'm sure they will know how I feel going into a local derby.

"I know that I've got to keep a cool head and not go flying into tackles or I'll get sent off, and that's no good to anybody, but there is an edge to derby matches."
