Football: COCA-COLA LEAGUE TWO/NON-LEAGUE - Cumiskey snatches late winner.

Farsley Celtic 0 Marine 1 MARINE made all the running in the first half of this UniBond League Premier Division clash.

As early as the fourth minute Darren Brookfield and Neil Murphy combined well to set up Peter Cumiskey. The on-loan striker beat three men and hit a low shot that looked to be sneaking into the corner of the net until Farsley keeper Paul Cuss appeared from nowhere.

Two minutes later Lee Parle flashed a volley just wide. The nearest Farsley came to scoring was a shot on 16 minutes which took a wicked deflection but Andy Ralph was able to make a comfortable save.

Marine had a chance on the half-hour mark.

James Connolly powered in a header but Cuss got down well to make a good save.

The Mariners rode their luck on 65 minutes when Andy Watson's powerful drive crashed back off the crossbar.

Marine won the game thanks to an inspired substitution by Alvin McDonald. On 72 minutes Lee Mulvaney replaced the tiring Lee Parle. Mulvaney had only been on the pitch for about 15 seconds when he slipped the ball to Cumiskey, who reacted first to turn the ball past Cuss into the net.

MARINE: Ralph, Murphy (Latham 10), Dever, Farley, Connolly, Brookf eld, Nesbitt, Parle (Mulvaney 72), Cumiskey, Young, Flood (Hollis 45)
