Football: Bolton bank on home comforts; Bolton v Tottenham TONIGHT 8pm.

SAM ALLARDYCE is looking for another taste of home comforts when Tottenham arrive at the Reebok Stadium tonight.

The Bolton manager has watched with pride as his side have become difficult to beat on their home turf.

Since losing to Everton in their opening home encounter, they have won six and drawn the other game in all competitions.

The last team to go away empty-handed were the Russian side Zenit St Petersburg, who went down in the UEFA Cup in midweek.

Allardyce said: "It's a bit of a fortress here and a daunting task for anybody visiting us.

"We've got a good run going at the Reebok and we want to maintain that momentum.

"The only goal we've conceded here in the Premiership cost us a defeat - the only one we've had at home.

"After that, the only goal we've conceded was against Lokomotiv Plovdiv and we managed to come back from that and win 2-1."

Spurs, with a number of top young English players, are making great strides under Dutch coach Martin Jol, and Allardyce expects a close encounter between two high-flyers
