Football: Blues in last four.

WOMEN'S FOOTBALL: Goals from Sally Lacey and Becky Hall saw Blues into the Birmingham County Cup semi-finals with a 2-0 win over stubborn Coventry.

Blues dominated proceedings but had to wait until the second half before breaking the Sky Blues' resistance.

Lacey opened the scoring, firing home after Kez Harrop rose at the far post to return a Dannii Bird corner on the hour.

Hall made the game safe in the 72nd minute, coolly firing low into the bottom left-hand corner from an inviting Michelle Archer ball into the box.
