Football: Bell's Division 3: Stirling set for signing.

STIRLING ALBION will hold signing talks with former Partick striker Robert Dunn and ex-Arbroath midfielder Colin McKinnon after both played as trialists in the 3-0 win against EAST STIRLING.

Manager Alan Moore said: "Both impressed and I will speak to them."

Steve Mallon got the first from the spot and George Rowe headed a 68th minute second before Mallon netted the third.

Shire coach Danny Diver said: "We did well for an hour and then a 10 minute spell killed us."

MORTON included former Ayr and Hamilton man Lee Duncan as a trialist and he headed the opener in their 3-0 win over QUEEN'S PARK.

Alex Williams added two more and manager Dave McPherson said: "I am pleased that we kept a clean sheet."

Queen's manager John McCormack said: "We should have scored first but we did not take our chances."

GRETNA ended the unbeaten record of ALBION ROVERS following their 2-0 win with goals from Ryan McGuffie and John Hore.

Boss Rowan Alexander said: "Our start to the season has passed all expectations."

Albion manager Peter Hetherston admitted: "The better team won."

Two-goal Kenny Deuchar lifted EAST FIFE to joint top of the table with a 2-0 win over MONTROSE.

Manager Jim Moffat said: "This is a tremendous three points for us."

Montrose supremo John Sheran said: "Two errors have cost us."

ELGIN stormed to a 3-0 win over PETERHEAD with David Ross, Michael Sanderson and Ricky James on target.
