Football: BEATH ON MARC FOR THIRD SPOT; COWDENBEATH ...1 QUEEN'S PARK ...0.

COWDENBEATH grabbed third top spot through a Marc Millar goal in seven minutes as they completed a six-game unbeaten run.

Manager Dave Baikie said: 'This will stand us in good stead at the start of next season.'

He added: 'It was always going to be a difficult game and I'm pleased with the work put in by the players.'

The only goal came after a mazy run and low cross from David Williams. Millar fired home from 10 yards.

Queen's boss Billy Stark described the result as a 'travesty.'

He said: 'We should have won. We had so much of the ball but just could not score
