Football: Arthur: It's time we had Nu start.

RANGERS defender Arthur Numan reckons the Old Firm should ditch plans for a Euroleague and join the English Premiership instead.

Numan told Rangers News: "From what I've read back in Holland I don't think the Euroleague will become the future.

"As for England, it's maybe an idea for the future - in three or four years for example.

"Rangers and Celtic are top teams. I'm sure if they played in the Premiership it would be easier to persuade top players to come to Ibrox or Parkhead because the English set-up is more attractive."
