Foolhardy.

USING the police as a political football seems to be in fashion. The North Wales force has been dragged in over pictures allegedly posted by Plaid Cymru councillor Dyfrig Jones of Bethesda on Facebook.

It is claimed he put up a photo of a baby holding a can of beer and a cigarette. If true, the electorate of Tudweiliog can show their disdain at the ballot box. But why involve the police? Behaving like a prat is not a crime. The problem with social networking sites is that they are aimed at self-absorbed, image-conscious teens and students.

It is all but impossible for anyone over 21 to use them without seeming foolish.
