LET Sun City restaurant on the south side of Glasgow brighten your day with its fantastic Chinese and Thai cuisine.

This lovely new eatery, situated in Mosspark Drive, Cardonald, has been a favourite with city residents since it opened last summer. Its success follows on from the popularity of Sun City's takeaway restaurant, which has been in business for more than 20 years.

Fully-licensed, Sun City has seen its customer numbers swell each year by offering quality fresh food, affordable prices and a warm atmosphere.

With enough room to seat 40 diners, the venue is perfect for a quiet meal for two, family gathering or special occasion.

The restaurant's skilful chefs use only the best ingredients, fresh vegetables and spices to make the dazzling dishes on offer from the a la carte menu.

And only prime cuts of beef, chicken, duck, pork and fresh seafood are used in preparing meals.

Starters and appetisers such as crispy aromatic Peking duck, fresh sauteed king prawn and deep-fried chicken and prawn toast are popular with customers.

While main courses include dishes such as roast duck, kung po, szechuan, chop suey, satay and egg foo yung.

For the less adventurous old favourites such as curries, sweet and sour meals and chow main dishes are always available.

Customers looking to enjoy a tasty meal at home can take advantage of the restaurant's reliable delivery service.

And for those on a budget there's also Sun City's pre-theatre and lunch menus.

The two-course pre-theatre menu is served on Sundays from 5pm to 9pm and Monday to Friday 5pm to 8pm, and is great value at pounds 7.90. A two-course lunch menu costs pounds 5.20 from noon to 2pm.
