Food boss in pounds 1 /2M row.

THE boss of a restaurant says she could face pounds 500,000 losses after being "unfairly linked" to a food poisoning case.

Theresa Chau, 40, said she has suffered dozens of cancellations since last week when her Chinese restaurant, Chow, in East Kilbride, was shown on STV and BBC news coverage.

She took over the premises when La Tours restaurant shut down two years after a woman contracted salmonella there in October 2000.

Both TV stations said they had made it clear Chow was not connected to La Tours
