Food: The gastronomic giveaway: WIN a New Zealand Lamb serving dish.

IT seems that every day there is another article telling us that kids in the UK are addicted to junk food and can't cook a nutritious meal. According to a survey by The Guides' Association (now GirlGuiding UK) in April 2002, 40 per cent of 8-15 year old girls can't boil an egg, and 20 per cent have never cooked a meal at home.

New Zealand Lamb has decided to do its bit to put the fun back into family food with its new recipe booklet `Funtastic Fast Food'. A selection of fast family meals that are so easy to cook even the kids will want to join in.

The booklet makes cooking fun and simple for all the family, and helps kids learn to make a healthy and delicious meal for themselves.

Recipe ideas include traditional family favourites with a bit of a twist, like `Easy Cheesy Shepherd's Pie' and fun new recipes such as `Crazy Cola Kebabs' and `Sticky Dippy Chops' to get the kids interested.

To encourage parents and kids to get cooking, New Zealand Lamb is giving away a fabulous serving platter, tea towel and two New Zealand Lamb cookery booklets to 20 lucky Food Club members.
