Focus on the real problems of Wales.

SIR - So Roger Williams, the gentleman farmer MP, is exercising his mind over the need to devolve fox hunting legislation to Wales.

With the dreadful state of the NHS here, the ever widening gap between the rich and poor and the likely continuation of austerity pains for several years, surely his focus should be the plight and aspirations of the majority in Wales, rather than his own vested interests and that of his coterie.

In the pubs and rugby clubs in the poorer parts of Wales there is about as much interest in the plight of those who ride with hounds, or indeed of the poor fox as there is in the price of Donegal tweed jackets, hunter wellies and waxed barbours.

Let's hope that in May he loses his seat/shooting stick.
