Flying high again; SAYS.

SINCE we reported how war hero Eric Carter was denied the chance to sit in a Spitfire because of health and safety red tape, he's become a hero all over again.

Our story last week was followed up by news media all round the world, from Australia to America, from Chile to China, from Belgium to Brazil.

Eric finds himself a figurehead for all those who are fed up of the nanny state antics which increasingly govern every aspect of our lives.

And, yes, his dream will come true after all, thanks to an invitation from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

This is one dogfight the do-gooders and the PC brigade have lost.
