Fluorescent-pink LED provides 180-degree viewing angle.

The fluorescent-pink Discrete LED is a domed InGaN diode with optical-grade epoxy produce 80-mcd illumination. The 5-mm, pink LED features a 180[degrees] viewing angle and stung leads for reliability in wire-wrap/through-hole PCB applications. The solid-state design renders LEDs imperious to electrical and mechanical shock, vibration, frequent switching and environmental extremes. With an average life span of 100,000-plus hours, the LEDs operate reliably year after year. They can be used as individual pixels in large dot matrix screens, full color screens, moving signs and displays. More diverse applications for 5-mm LEDs include light color synthesis.
