Flowers brighten up city; YourSay.

BIRMINGHAM is a much cheerier place now that we have a little bit of colour in it.

Walking through with my daughter, it's such a refreshing change to see the council actually brightening up the city with the lovely floral trail.

It makes shopping more enjoyable and makes the city look clean, bright.

And it gives us something to look out at as we sit and eat lunch, watching the world go by.

S Lindsay, South Yardley * CONGRATULATIONS to all those responsible for the hanging baskets placed along the crash barriers in the Digbeth area of the city.

A wonderful splash of colour, to say the least.

M J Foley, Small Heath
