Flow cytometry: quick and efficient.

The new digital FACSCanto supports routing and complex clinical assays, securing quality data quickly and efficiently. FACSCanto supports a broad range of research applications, being particularly suited for rare-event analysis with its high speed--processing up to 10,000 events per second--and sensitivity, and a less than 0.1% sample-to-sample carryover. The flexible experimental design offers eight-parameter detection across a range of particle sizes from 0.5 [micro]m to 50 [micro]m in diameter, enabling projects with leucocytes, cell lines, platelets, multiplexed bead technologies, and beyond. Automated compensation algorithms with optional off-line compensation, streamlined sample loading, and automated housekeeping routines, such as cleaning cycles, startup, and instrument shutdown, ensure optimal workflow and time management. A cart holds large fluid tanks to run the instrument, reducing the operator's need to handle fluids. Laser alignment is eliminated because the fixed optical bench and fiber optics route focused and steady light.
