Florida Bar President Hank Coxe and President-elect Frank Angones recently presented a special remembrance to The Cuban American Bar Association.

FLORIDA BAR PRESIDENT Hank Coxe and President-elect Frank Angones recently presented a special remembrance to The Cuban American Bar Association. The framed plaque contained information from the 1936 Florida Law Journal with information on that year's Annual Meeting of the then-Florida State Bar Association, in Havana, Cuba. The promotion material touted, Coxe noted, river-front hotel rooms at $2.50 a night and a round trip Pan American airfare of $22. Coxe said the old materials were unearthed by Second DCA Judge E. J. Salcines, a Florida Bar/ judicial history buff. Pictured from the left are 2007 CABA President Elizabeth M. Hernandez, Coxe, Immediate Past CABA President Corali Lopez-Castro, and Angones. Other CABA officers for the new year include President-elect Marlene Quintana and board members Nelson Bellido, Raul Chacon, Jr., Manuel Crespo, Jr., Vivian De Las Cuevas-Diaz, Victoria del Pino, Sandra Ferrera, Manuel Garcia-Linares, Anna "Annie" Hernandez, Victoria Mendez, Robert Pardo, Marlene Quintana, and Roland Sanchez-Medina, Jr.
