Flint sides enjoy tackling American namesakes.

RUGBY UNION IT was a great turnout by Flint Rugby players, the Ladies Warriors section and supporters for a shirt exchange evening between Flint RFC and Flint Rogues RFC from the USA.

Flint Rogues were represented by one of their players, Josh Tousley, who visited as part of his tour of the UK and Ireland.

Flint RFC chair Johnnie Hood said: "It's great for the two clubs to create a link and hopefully it will develop in the future".

The evening comprised of a Ladies Warriors session, mens touch rugby and a club BBQ and a few beers to end the evening.

The two clubs also have some similarities as both were formed within a few years of each other 1969 & 72 and the Rogues' Welsh connection is strengthened with current club president & coach Howel King originating from Wales while both clubs play in Division
