Jetrion will provide ink, hardware, software and services for continuous inkjet (CIJ) and drop-on-demand (DOD) applications. It will be head-quartered in Ann Arbor, MI.
Flint has also announced a multimillion-dollar commitment to expand its market share in conductive and advanced printing inks and printed electronics technology and processes. The commitment, including staff expansion and plans to develop a state-of-the-art development and resource center, will position Flint Ink to capture a significant share of several growth and emerging markets.
According to Dave Frescoln, Flint's president, "We will be expanding our staff, aligning strategic partnerships, and leveraging relationships worldwide to help customers expand their business with conductive printing inks and printed electronics applications."
The new development and resource center will be located near the company's headquarters in Ann Arbor and is expected to open for business in the third quarter of 2003. It will house laboratories, a pressroom, and other technology.
