Flint Group makes debut at IPEX 2006.

Flint Group, created by the merger of European-based XSYS Print Solutions and American-owned Flint Ink Corporation, will make its debut as a strong, new leader in worldwide printing, packaging and colorants industries at IPEX 2006.

With more than 1,000 combined years of experience gained through the confluence of more than 20 companies over the last decade, Flint Group will present for the first time its new combined portfolio of innovative ink and plate products and expert services.

The expanded product line covers printing inks for all major printing applications, including coldset, heat-set, gravure, flexo, letterpress, UV and narrow web, as well as letterpress and flexo plates and digital inks and equipment.

"IPEX is the first major trade show venue providing the opportunity to introduce our new combined global capabilities to the marketplace," said Dave Frescoln, CEO of Flint Group. "Flint Group is a strong organization structured on long traditions of advanced technology, outstanding products and responsive service. Visitors to our IPEX stand will have an opportunity to learn first hand about the expanded capabilities and resources of Flint Group from our experienced professionals who are dedicated to meeting customers' needs."

Flint Group will announce several product advancements at IPEX. Among them, Flint Group Printing Plates will present new products for flexographic and letterpress printing. Highlighting the Flint Group Printing Plates exhibit will be the recently-launched nyloflex ACT for high quality flexographic printing applications, nyloflex Gold A digital, the first digital "coating plate" and the nyloprint WF blue, a new foil-based letterpress plate.

At the show, XSYS Print Solutions Narrow Web Inks Division will launch Lithocure 3G ink, a next-generation UV offset ink for the narrow web sector.

Lithocure 3G ink has optimized ink/water balance and provides excellent printability and color strength. This ink provides more press time, less waste and improved profitability for the narrow web printer.

Jetrion, the company's fast-growing subsidiary focused on the industrial inkjet printing industry, will present a complete spectrum of inkjet products, services and custom high-performance integration solutions for the printing, converting, packaging, wide-format and direct mail industries. Jetrion's exhibit will feature the introduction of the 3025SA, the first standalone rewinder with an integrated UV inkjet printing system.
