Fliers Condemn Neturei Karta, Urge Boycott.
A group called the Front for National Judaism distributed Fliers on Thursday urging the public to boycott the anti-Zionist extremist Chassdic Neturei Karta sect.
Neturei Karta Chassidim participated in a two-day Holocaust denial conference in Teheran Monday and Tuesday and were photographed kissing and embracing Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The Fliers, entitled "Leave the Tents of These Evil People," featured a caricature of a Neturei Karta rabbi sitting between two women awaiting his turn to greet Ahmadinejad.
And documents disclosed by the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center at the Center for Special Studies reveal that former arch-terrorist and Arab leader Yasir Arafat paid tens of thousands of dollars to Rabbi Moshe Hirsch, the "foreign minister" of the anti-Zionist Neturei Karta sect.
CSS stated that documents uncovered during Operation Defensive Shield in Jenin show that Arafat paid $25,000 and $30,000 in January and February 2002 for "expenses for activities." Neturei Karta frequently supported Arafat and served as a propaganda tool for him, CSS noted.
Yad Vashem, Thursday, sponsored an emergency conference in response to the Teheran conference. "Holocaust Denial: Paving the Way to Genocide," focused on the different ways in which governments and world leaders can counteract anti-Semitism and calls for genocide from Iran.
The staff at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum worked feverishly for the past few days on a project aimed directly at neutralizing the world's chief Holocaust denier, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Yad Vashem's website is now being translated into the Persian language to counter Ahmadinejad's claims that the Nazi genocide of six million Jews was a "myth." Chairman Avner Shalev said that the museum sees some 20,000 visitors per year from Muslim countries, including Iran.
