Flexible manufacturing cell.

Finn-Power International, Inc. has introduced a new Shear Genius[R] flexible manufacturing cell that combines the punching, forming, and tapping versatility of a turret punch press with high-quality shearing for separating the components. Sheet squaring is fast and takes place on the machine table, with no auxiliary table needed, and the process stability has been improved by a totally new actuation mechanism for X and Y movement of the coordinate table. The 20-station turret punch press features increased index speed, indexable upforming and an optional large work chute. Stroke depth is automatically adjusted for maximum shearing speed, and double sheet detection and squaring functions are integrated in the gripper mechanism. Finn-Power International Inc.
