Flexibility is just the job!

FLEXIBLE working hours are more important than money for nearly a third of people in the West Midlands looking for a new job, a survey shows.

The online poll by recruitment website with the Department of Trade and Industry's Work Life Balance campaign, surveyed over 4,000 jobseekers.

Nearly a third said they would prefer the opportunity to work flexible hours rather than receive pounds 1,000 more in pay per year.

Almost half chose flexible working as the benefit they would most look for in their next job. Eight in 10 parents with children under six said work life balance was important when choosing a job.
