Flexcar Expands Operations in Los Angeles Region.

Seattle, WA-based car-sharing company Flexcar recently announced it has expanded its operations within the Los Angeles area to cover the UCLA campus, as well as appointed a new regional office general manager and introduced nearly 20 new vehicles.

According to Flexcar, the new general manager -- Ryan Grady, who formerly served as president of Grant Piston Rings -- will oversee the introduction of the new vehicles and expansion process.

"We are very excited about the improvements we're making in our Los Angeles operations and the opportunities both we and our customers have here," said Flexcar president and CEO Lance Ayrault. "I'm confident that car-sharing will continue to pick up steam here and become as successful as we've been in other cities like Seattle, Portland and Washington D.C."
