Fletcher Thompson has announced the addition of Kurt Baur, AIA, ACHA as Associate Principal and Director of Healthcare Architecture. Baur will also be involved in marketing and business development for the firm's expanding Healthcare Practice Group.
Baur's extensive experience in the architectural field includes healthcare facilities, research laboratories, and corporate offices. Through this broad range of project types, he has developed an exceptional ability to lead all architectural and engineering aspects of planning, design, and construction phases of a project. Baur has been involved in numerous complex healthcare projects including the design and construction of a new 360-bed replacement hospital for Jersey City Medical Center and master planning new "American style" academic medical centers in South Korea and the Caribbean.
