Fleece sale at event by Campaign for Wool.
PicKnit is the Campaign for Wool's community activity this year and the Kendal event feature a range of woolly activities, as well as Sizergh's own sheep.
All are welcome at the free event, which runs from 10am-3pm.
Meanwhile, the North Pennines Wool Group is holding its fourth wool event today in St John's Chapel.
The event will take place at the Town Hall, Barrington Hall and surrounding village green and will run from 10.30am-4pm.
This year the North Pennines Wool Group's event will include a range of stallholders selling local wools, woollen products and wool-related equipment and art, plus a range of woolly demonstrations will be taking place throughout the day.
There will also be a fleece sale and anyone with interesting fleeces to sell is welcome to bring them along on the day (email email@example.com for details of how to present your fleeces). All wool at the event will be of British origin.
For those interested in photography, this year the North Pennines Wool Group is running a photography competition. They are looking for images of North Pennines sheep, North Pennines wool and fleeces and items made from North Pennines wool.
