B IRMING. HAM based St. Modwen Homes has been named Best Small Housebuilder in the UK at a national awards ceremony.

The developer also won Best House Design for Three Storeys or Fewer at the Housebuilder Awards.

This annual event celebrating the best in UK housebuilding is held by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) in partnership with the National House-Building Council (NHBC).

The judges commented that St.

Modwen Homes demonstrated a commitment to innovation, improvement and excellence. St. Modwen Homes is the housebuilding brand of St. Modwen, the UK's leading regeneration specialist with more than 25 years' experience in the industry.

Park View, a residential scheme in Longbridge, was St. Modwen Homes' first development in the UK.

Guy Gusterson, managing director at St. Modwen Homes, said: "We are delighted to have been named Best Small Housebuilder.

"St. Modwen Homes was formed just over two years ago so this demonstrates how much the company has achieved in such a short space of time.

"We now have five active developments across the UK and have sold out at a further two sites in the last few months alone, including Park View in Longbridge."

A detailed planning application has been submitted by St.

Modwen Homes for 82 more homes in a new phase of housing at Longbridge. For more details visit www.stmodwenhomes.co.uk.
