Silverstar Holdings Ltd (NasdaqCM:SSTR), which publishes entertainment software worldwide, revealed on 1 February 2008 that its subsidiary, Empire Interactive is preparing for the release of a PC-DVD ROM version of arcade racer 'FlatOut Ultimate Carnage', in June 2008.

According to the company, the FlatOut series has been a worldwide success across a number of formats, winning many awards and selling over 2 million copies

The new PC-DVD ROM version of FlatOut Ultimate Carnages is being created by Bugbear Entertainment Ltd, a Finnish developer of action driving games.

This series will blur the line between arcade and simulation, giving the PC gamers a 'deathproof' experience with its gameplay modes and enhanced graphics, rivalling the Xbox 360 version, said the company.
