Flat meetings off.

Tomorrow's Flat race meetings at Catterick and Nottingham have been abandoned.

Catterick clerk of the course Jonjo Sanderson said: "We are waterlogged with false patches of ground on the home bend.

"It's not safe to race today and it would not dry out sufficiently by tomorrow. We had eight millimetres of rain last night on top of about an inch since Friday which was too much."

A Nottingham spokeswoman said: "We have abandoned due to waterlogging and unstable patches of ground."
