Flaming brave.

A TEENAGE boy is to follow in his father's fiery footsteps by stepping out onto red-hot coals for charity. Ben Thompson, 16, will embark on the firewalk for cancer charity St Cuthbert's Hospice.

Three years ago, Ben's dad Michael took part in the same fundraising event.

Ben of Bishop Auckland, County Durham, said: "Dad's told us what an amazing adrenaline rush you get."

To join in the October 28 event, at Durham Market Place, call Rachel Jobson on (0191) 386 1170.
