Flair's side steam release pouch makes steaming a real cinch.
A new vapor release pouch for steamable products has been introduced by Flair Flexible Packaging Corporation.
It provides a convenient way to reheat soups, vegetables, sauces and other prepared foods in microwave ovens without tearing or puncturing the pouch prior to heating, while improving both nutrient retention and flavor quality.
The self-venting pouches are multi-laminate, three-side seal standup units. Film structure is product dependent and can be engineered to provide either a high or low oxygen barrier. With today's consumer lifestyle increasingly demanding convenience and efficiency, the vapor release pouch offers an alternative to conventional packaging suitable for microwave ovens.
Flair is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and houses engineering, graphics, marketing, customer service, logistics, R&D, converting and warehousing departments that support food and industrial packaging projects from start to finish. It has sales offices in Montreal and Vancouver, Canada, as well as Wisconsin and Washington in the United States.
Besides custom rotogravure printed film, bags and pouches, Flair offers a full line of vacuum pouches, thermoforming film, shrink bags, deli packaging and coffee bags and pouches.
