Flack + Kurtz, Inc.

The New York Office of Flack + Kurtz, Inc. a premier multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm announces the promotion of several staff members.

Vince Leahy, a native of the Bronx, came to Flack + Kurtz from the firm of Ambrosino, DePinto and Schmieder. Leahy is now a senior associate with the firm.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.

His project experience includes CUNY's Brooklyn College.

Patty McCaffrey joined the firm in 1997 after working at Baker Engineering and is now a senior associate.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, and her Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College. Her projects include work on the US Embassy in Capetown.

Frank Muscarella, a native of the Bronx, received his bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College.

Muscarella joined Flack + Kurtz in 1994. He is now a senior associate with the firm.

His project work includes the design for the New York Times Headquarters, by architect Renzo Piano.

Cheryl Massie, of Colorado, has been promoted to associate.

She joined Flack + Kurtz in 1998 and received her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado.

Her recent project work includes the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT.

Ralph Ocasio, born in Puerto Rico, joined Flack + Kurtz in 1998. He is a graduate of Pratt Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. His projects include the Mohegan Sun Casino.

Ocasio has been promoted to associate.

Jay Miranda, originally from Kuwait, joined the Flack + Kurtz Information Technologies department in 2000.

He has been promoted to associate.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology, and his Master of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA. His projects include The William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library.

John Brokaw joined Flack + Kurtz in 1999. He has been promoted to associate. Brokaw's projects include Rhode Island Hospital.
