Flack & Kurtz opens in DC.

Flack + Kurtz Consulting Engineers' Telecommunications Group has opened a Washington, D.C. office to oversee ongoing projects in the National Capitol Region. Debra R. Ryon, P.E., has joined the organization as director of the new office.

Ryon has 12 years telecommunications experience with both private industry and the U.S. government. For the last four years, she was a senior telecommunications engineer at Sverdrap Corporation.

She holds a B.S.M.E. degree from Colorado State University, an M.S.E.E. degree from George Washington University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Maryland. She has participated on several telecommunications industry technical standards committees.
