Fixture switch for Bees opener.

COVENTRY Bees have confirmed a fixture switch for their mouth-watering Elite League opener against Poole on Good Friday.

The Buildbase Bees had been due to travel to Wimborne Road on the morning of April 6 before hosting the Pirates at Brandon in the evening - but the matches will now take place in the reverse order.

It means an 11am start for the home meeting between the last two clubs to become Elite League Champions, with the return in Dorset taking place at 8pm.

Bees have also confirmed dates for their two-legged Knockout Cup quarter-final tie with Lakeside.

They will host the Hammers in the first leg at Brandon on Friday, June 1, with the return at Purfleet 24 hours later. Friday April 6: ELITE LEAGUE: Coventry v Poole 11am, Poole v Coventry 8pm Friday June 1: KO CUP Q/F 1st leg: Coventry v Lakeside 8pm Saturday June 2: KO CUP Q/F 2nd leg: Lakeside v Coventry 7.45pm.
