Five women step up to become new directors.

GOMER Williams Solicitors, of Llanelli and Pontarddulais, has announced five new directors for the business.

The move sees five female members of staff promoted from their current roles as acting heads of departments.

Juliet Philips-James, senior director and owner of Gomer Williams Solicitors, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be able to acknowledge the hard work of our senior staff members. The promotions recognise the hard work of individuals and also act as a benchmark for the rapid growth of the business over the last 18 months - a testament to the hard work of all our employees."

The five new directors are: Sarah Williams (head of conveyancing), Trina Wilkins (head of civil litigation), Kate Clarke (head of wills and probate), Laura Sherwood (head of crime) and Lucy Williams (head of family).

Gareth Gwyndaf Jones, senior director and owner at Gomer Williams Solicitors, said: "2019 marks the 100th year of Gomer Williams and we are excited for the year ahead.

"We pride ourselves on the development of our staff members and the announcement of five new directors comes with a great sense of achievement.
