Five things to be grateful for.. JEFF BRAZIER'S FAMILY TALK.

Byline: JEFF BRAZIER

1 Working away, I innocently checked into my hotel last Friday only to discover a murder-mystery weekend taking place. I'm grateful that Joy, the organiser of Murder.co.uk, allowed me to join in - before I knew it, I'd turned into Inspector Morse and Columbo rolled into one!

2 A colleague recently revealed he was a psychic/medium in his spare time. I let him 'cut my chords' - a process that helps us move on from the past to create a better future. I got a great sense of purpose from it, so thank you very much Michael.

3 I'm getting really into my cycling, but I hit a snag that served as a timely reminder that I need to buy a few essential accessories. I was 15 miles away from work when I got a puncture and had to call a cab. The worst thing about it? I was on track to beat my personal best.

4 The boys really enjoyed their music lesson at half term. Bobby played the electric drums and can't wait for his next lesson. I can guess what's going to be number one on his Christmas list!

5 Bob and Fred visited their Nan in Bermondsey at the weekend, who they haven't seen for quite a while. They love her dearly and have missed her a lot.
